Well done to the final four ponies that made it into our mascot contest. Each one was really well done, however Ponycon can only have one mascot and after a week of voting by our board members, Ponycon 2008 now has a mascot. Well done to Baggins Lover and her entry of Party Popper, she's this years mascot ^_^.

As with recent years, following this contest, there should be an art contest coming up where all talented artists out there can have a go at drawing our new mascot ready to be put onto Ponycon's merchandise. More information on this will be coming shortly.

A huge thanks to everyone that took part in our design a mascot contest. The entries are now in and are being shortlisted by the committee. Keep checking the forums for voting on the finalists.

Well this is the new (temporary) website layout for Ponycon 08. As I'm sure you can see we have some new features to this layout which I hope you'll all like.

Currently there isn't a lot of content to do with the convention itself as such details as the venue and dates haven't yet been decided. However as soon as they are, you can expect to see a full update here.

Just to keep everyone aware, hopefully sometime over the next few days the layout will be altered for this years convention. Just thought I'd let you know in case pages are temporarily unavailable over the next few days.
